AI Research Scientist
Study how language models form and change their internal representation of people, companies, and products, and turn what you learn into methods our investigations rely on.
What you will do
- Design and run experiments on how language models represent people, companies, and products, and how those representations change from one model version to the next.
- Develop evaluation methods that show whether an AI answer about a business is accurate, supported, and stable.
- Study why models make unsupported recommendations or leave qualified businesses out, and test what changes the outcome.
- Write papers and internal reports that hold up to scrutiny from clients, counsel, and other researchers.
- Work with the investigations team to turn research findings into methods used on client matters.
What we look for
- Research experience with large language models, representation learning, or model interpretability.
- Strong experimental design and statistics, with a record of careful, reproducible work.
- Fluency in Python and the common tools for training, probing, and evaluating models.
- Papers, preprints, or other research you can share.
- Clear writing for technical and nontechnical readers alike.
- An advanced degree is welcome but not required. The quality of your research matters most.

AI Investigation Analyst
Reproduce and document what AI systems say about a client across models, versions, and time, and build the evidence record that each engagement depends on.
What you will do
- Query AI assistants, AI search, and language models in a structured way to reproduce the answers that concern a client.
- Record each answer with its prompt, model, version, date, and context, so that anyone can reproduce and verify it.
- Track how answers change across models, versions, and time, and flag the changes that matter to the client.
- Build and maintain the evidence record for each matter, organized for consultants, clients, and counsel.
- Work with consultants to explain what the evidence shows and where it is incomplete.
What we look for
- Experience in research, investigations, analysis, journalism, compliance, or other evidence-driven work.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI assistants and language models, and real curiosity about how they behave.
- Meticulous documentation habits and patience for exacting, repetitive work.
- Sound judgment about what is significant and what is noise.
- Clear, precise writing.
- Scripting experience in Python or a similar language is helpful but not required.

Senior Consultant
Lead investigations end to end, working directly with a client’s leadership and counsel from the first conversation to verified results.
What you will do
- Lead client engagements from scoping through investigation, corrective action, and verification.
- Scope each matter with the client around the organization, the issue, and the work required.
- Direct the research and investigations teams so that the work answers the client’s business question.
- Plan and direct corrective action with the client’s leadership, and with counsel when a matter calls for it.
- Lead weekly working sessions and present findings and recommendations clearly and candidly.
- Keep each engagement on schedule and within its agreed scope.
What we look for
- Substantial experience leading complex client engagements in consulting, law, communications, technology, or a related field.
- Comfort working with senior executives, boards, and outside counsel on sensitive matters.
- Enough technical understanding of AI systems to direct researchers and explain their findings to nontechnical clients.
- Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to deliver difficult news plainly.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.

Customer Success Representative
Keep clients informed between weekly sessions, coordinate their requests, and make sure nothing is dropped.
What you will do
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for clients between weekly working sessions.
- Coordinate client requests with consultants, researchers, and analysts, and see each one through.
- Track agreed actions, owners, and deadlines, and follow up before anything slips.
- Prepare session agendas, notes, and summaries of what was decided.
- Keep client records and correspondence organized and confidential.
What we look for
- Experience in customer success, account management, client services, or a similar client-facing role.
- Excellent organization and follow-through, with a habit of closing every loop.
- Clear, courteous writing and speaking, including with senior executives.
- Discretion with confidential information.
- Comfort with the tools used to track tasks and correspondence, and an interest in learning how AI systems work.

Litigation and Expert Services Coordinator
Support engagements that involve counsel, from preserving evidence to the logistics of expert reports, with close attention to schedules and confidentiality.
What you will do
- Coordinate engagements that involve outside counsel, including schedules, requests, and deadlines.
- Organize the preservation of technical evidence so that it is complete, documented, and ready if a matter proceeds.
- Manage the logistics of independent expert reports, including materials, drafts, reviews, and delivery.
- Schedule working sessions, reviews, and testimony dates across clients, counsel, and experts.
- Maintain confidentiality procedures and access records for sensitive matters.
What we look for
- Experience as a paralegal, litigation support specialist, legal assistant, or case coordinator.
- Familiarity with litigation procedure, evidence preservation, and expert witness work.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail under deadlines.
- Discretion and sound judgment with privileged and confidential material.
- Clear, professional writing.

Software Engineer, Evaluation Tooling
Build the internal tools that query AI systems at scale, record their outputs, and measure how answers change.
What you will do
- Build services that query AI assistants and language models at scale through their APIs and other interfaces.
- Design data pipelines that record every output with the context needed to reproduce it.
- Build tools that measure and compare answers across models, versions, and time.
- Create internal interfaces that let researchers and analysts run, review, and annotate evaluations.
- Keep the tooling reliable, tested, secure, and well documented.
What we look for
- Professional experience building production software in TypeScript or Python.
- Experience with data pipelines, APIs, and relational databases such as Postgres.
- Familiarity with language model APIs and their practical limits, including rate limits, cost, and nondeterministic output.
- Care for correctness, testing, and reproducibility.
- A computer science degree is welcome but not required. What you have built matters most.
