Verify a record
Confirm that a Modulus record is current, when it was issued, and when it is next re-verified.
Enter the record address or record identifier shown on the organization's record, website or verification statement. The lookup confirms the record's status and dates. It returns nothing for an identifier that does not correspond to a published record, and Modulus publishes no list of the organizations it verifies.
Status values
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Current | Re-verified within the interval in Annex E of the standard; the Modulus Verified mark is authorized. |
| Suspended | Maintenance of the record is suspended under clause 9.19.1; the mark is not authorized. |
| Withdrawn | The record has been withdrawn under clause 9.19 and is no longer published; reported for 90 days after withdrawal. |
Machine lookup
GET https://modulus.ai/verify/api/<record-identifier> returns JSON with status, issued, last_reverified, reverification_date, standard_version, program_version and, for public records, url; 404 for any identifier that does not correspond to a published record.
